Most of today was a good drive on the toll highway but as we got closer to New York City there were 6 lanes of traffic going each way (North and South). We were in the three lanes with the truck and buses the other three lanes were for cars only. There were three toll booths for a total of $44.00 in tolls. I thought we would miss New York city but we did have to go through the north end of it but the free way was good and although lots of traffic Ernest handled everything very well. He was tired after we got north a ways so I had him pull off at a service center and have a 45 minute nap. We are in a nice KOA Campground with Internet and cable TV...good thing for cable as the trees block out satellite signal. Here are a few photos I took while driving, sorry about the dirty windshield, ha ha!
New Jersey Turnpike (Toll)
This is the six lanes, three for cars only and three for trucks, buses, and us!We think there is an accident ahead, we were stopped for a while but when we got there we saw nothing of an accident. George Washington Bridge Near New York
