Here is Brayden doing his thing. He is musically inclined and plays the guitar and piano and also likes to do this, I think it is called mixing but I better ask him so I can put the right term on here, ha ha ha....He is now 15 and will turn 16 in April.

Christmas Photos Dec. 21

Here are a few photos, this was Dec 21st. when the kids came for dinner. Brayden and Meeca were down stairs watching TV and when Ernest went down they were both asleep. We had fun with the 4 younger girls, we had them singing Christmas songs for us and just generally fooling around. I am so happy we were home this Christmas and we had these special times with our family. Rayven and Mikayla are 13, Kiana is 11 and Keeli is 8 years old. I can hardly beleive Brad and Jen will turn 40 next month!

Kiana and Keeli's Ringette Photo

Our son in law sent me these photos of the Keeli and Kiana so I thought I would post them today. Kiana is in the Frazer Valley in a Ringette Tournament this weekend and Keeli is here with Ernest and I. Keeli and I are going to do some baking, shopping and take in a movie so the weekend should go by quickly. This weekend is suppose to be very cold and we should have lots of snow too.....then we will feel like Christmas is coming!

Deer fighting in backyard!

This morning I awoke to an awesome sight, two bucks were putting on a show for me. I must of been too excited as I did a poor job taking photos through the kitchen window. I have taken photos from there before and they were pretty good but not today....boohoo.... anyway here are a couple shots just to show you.

We are home!

Hi, just a short note to say we are home. We had a great trip home, nice dry roads all the way with only a little bit of fog in Oregon. It is nice to be back in a "real house", the park model is fine but I sure love my home. We will see all the grand kids after school today and we are going to Marnie & Brad's for dinner tonight! We did a bit of Christmas shopping on the way home and now I have to get busy here and finish it up and also get DECORATING!! Will add to the post as I get things done here for Christmas, just to keep you all up to date and let you know what your missing by staying in Yuma and not being home with your family, ha ha ha.....

Garage is done!

Here are a few inside photos of the garage. We have bought a washer, dryer and deep freeze; I think we are done for a while. The concrete work will be done tomorrow.

Progress on GARAGE!

Well we are seeing some progress on the garage but I do not know if they will have it done on Friday as promised! Here are some more photos of it and the big tree....or shall I say the area where the tree was!

First they cut the top off the tree, the mess from that is still here!

When the contractor took out the tree our water line got broken, but WATER & SEWER are Ernest's specialty so he fixed the water line! They only put it about two feet deep so hand digging in the sand was not hard!Now we can see our neighbors across the road from us and they can see us! Also I have a few more places where I can see the top of the mountains in the distance.

Look how nice our place looks from the road, before you could hardley see the park model from this corner of the lot. I like it much better now! If you notice you can see our small shed just behind the house. In January we are making the shed into a sitting room, and also will use it as a guest bedroom....and yes it will have a TV in there but you will have to walk into the garage to use the bathroom!
